I have seen many team's this year, gbw, gbs, hinsdale central, lockport, jca, benet, naperville north, naperville central, fremd, west chicago, oak park, lyons township, holy cross, naz, stignatius, and with out a doubt the best defensive first baseman is also the best hitting first baseman, name is DAN PRICE FROM OAK PARK RIVER FOREST.
Anyone who has seen an OPRF game has probably seen Dan Price scoop 3 or 4 balls out of the dirt. He can do the splits and has saved the infielders from several throwing errors. He makes all the plays. He is definitely the gold glover of our team. I believe Price and Mcfolling are tied with 5 dongs apiece.
king has to be one of the top first basemen around he is originally a short stop and that is where he wants to play in college and he is proving he can play first base.... give him a few more reps and he will be the best around
Geeeeeeez, get off Coach Hall! Who cares if he yells, he is yelling for a reason. If you get the DELETED out, you might find out that he really cares and he has a point to get across. His rational talking obviously did not work, so thus he needs to raise his voice.
Joe Mandele, Batavia, 1st base. Hits well, excellent defensive player and at 6'9" nothing is getting over his head. He is the best in the Chicago area. Many scoop catches to save errors on throws. For his size he has great hands and moves his feet very well.
