To start I just want to thank everyone in advance for you advice and for all of the information I have gotten from this site. With that said, I am a junior in high school and have yet to send out any letters or e-mails. I am planning on sending some out this week. Is this too late and should I send a letter or e-mail and what should I include in this letter or e-mail? Thanks again for the help.

Absolutely not too late Patty C.

Go to HSBBW main web site and look under recruiting tips.
There are examples of what ( or what not ) to write!
Hope this helps,...now get those fingers movin' & get to typin' !!! Smile
Start knocking on those recruiting doors, one by one.

Most colleges have a recruiting questionnaires on their baseball website. My son would fill those out ( although he did not put his SS# on, even though many asked for it ) and then he followed up with an email and/or a mailed letter.

P.S. I noticed you are from Missouri. Have you checked the Missouri State baseball website?
They have winter camps coming up! You might want to take a look and see if that's something you would be interested in. Many times colleges, other than just the college hosting the actual camp, will be in attendance watching the participants.
When my son was a junior like you, thats what he asked for for Christmas,....a baseball day camp.
Beats a PS2 game, anyday! Wink

Good deal Patty C.
That means you have already been " seen ". If you know what colleges were in attendence last year and if you are interested in any of them , be sure to mention that in your letters.

Since we live close to Missouri, please feel free to pm me and I will send you all of the info I have with regards to what is going on baseball wise, this side of the river. Smile
