First game of season

we scrimmaged cary high school. Travis went 1-3 and got hit by a pitch. Doug pitched 4 innings and gave up 1 run. We lost 5-4. Good luck this season.

I'm playing in my first ever high school game tomorrow morning. Last february, the coaches at my old high school pretty much screwed me out of a spot on the team, even though everyone told me I deserved to be there. I switched schools to the cross-town rival, and I'm starting behind the plate now. It's been a pretty wild ride, and tomorrow is the culmanation of everything that has happened.

We played twice this week. We did pretty well in both. Lots of guys got to pitch and get ab's. We open for real Tuesday with Roxboro at home and then Kerr Vance away Thursday and Cedar Ridge home on Friday. Tell all the guys I said good luck and I hope they have a great year.

why is it when kids dont get to start they have to switch schools?? i mean u leave alot behind other than baseball so why not jsut work hard and EARN your starting spot

I didn't transfer just because I didn't get that spot, it was kinda of the straw that broke the camel's back so to speak. And no matter how hard I worked, I never would have gotten a fair chance there. It was a move that needed to be made, and you really don't know the full story, so don't act like I'm some whiny slacker, because you don't know me. Sorry if this seems like I'm overreacting, but it's a rather touchy subject with me.

i wasnt talking jsut about you kids all over the place move because they dont get a starting spot and just for that reason 1) they probably arent good enough to get it and 2) they probably dont work hard and impress the coaches
so im sorry if i offended you but i was asking in general because on many other posts people talk about leaving schools because they didnt get to start
