14 yr old son, freshmen catcher playing with varsity had his first hit a homerun today and missed it due to work. Really sucks to miss but very proud

That is super exciting! Kevin, I'm sure you're sorry you missed it, but since he is a freshman playing on the varsity team I'm sure he will have many more. Congratulations!!!

Awesome news, and good to see a catcher doing his thing with the bat.

Don't worry, I was in Kuwait when my son hit his first dinger in HS.
