I like making picks...I have 3 upsets in the first round..Timberlane over Memorial, Alvirne over South and spaulding over Trinity.

I also think Salem could have their hands full in game 2 vs either Memorial or Timberlane.

But then again I stink at brackets usually..lol

are both nashua teams at holman? if so who has the 7pm game?

South will play at South High School @ 4:00 pm and North will play Holman @ 4:00 pm

First Round:
(1)North over (16)Central - Could be closer than expected if Veilleux's stuff is on
(9)Spaulding over (8)Trinity -Revenge time for Spaulding
(4) Salem over (13) Exeter - Poore wins battle of the aces
(12) Timberlane over (5) Memorial - P.J. Singster shuts down Memorial's bats
(2) Goffstown over (15) Pinkerton
(7) Keene over (10) Dover
(3) Londonderry over (14) Concord
(11) Alvirne over (6) South - South's lost 4 out of last 5

Round Two:
North over Spaulding
Salem over Timberlane
Goffstown over Keene
Londonderry over Alvirne

Semi's:
-North edging out a close win over Poore and Salem
-Londonderry's pitching staff too much for Goffstown bats on a neutral field in win

Championship: Should be a very well pitched game between both teams, but I'm going to have to say North just barely edges out Londonderry to win the 2010 Class L State Final.

I'm not going to back of my pre-season pick of North to win it all.... but since North, Londonderry, and Goffstown are getting all the picks I'm going to say my sleeper is Spaulding to win it all.

I think they could honestly win it, I know they have strong pitching and a few bats that I was impressed with.

Anyone know if Kevin Veilleux will be playing his last year of Babe Ruth this year (15U) or moving up to Legion or Senior Babe Ruth or even AAU??

Just curious if we will see him in districts or not...he was impressive last year.

I'm taking all of the Home teams, i.e. "play the chalk". I'll guess that 2-3 visitors will win, just not going to pick who, because I have no idea except for the 8&9 7&10 games are a coin flip. Trinity averages about 2 runs per game against good teams, so they will struggle (and win 2-1, I hope), and Dover has that bus ride to hell which doesn't help.

Best 1st round games could be South-Alvirne and Memorial-Timberlane.

Predict North will be fine. Too Deep to beat in 1st round. Should not have trouble until 3rd round, if Salem gets there.

I did ok with my picks..all three of my upsets came true (see above post) I just didn't see Pinkerton over goffstown. Went 7-1 with my picks.

I had my match up wrong when I picked Alvrine but also had the Timberlane pick. Singster is good.
