Thanks, Wes. I'm excited about the future and where Gameday is heading. They (Gameday) are good folks with the right perspective about this business. There are alot of exciting things happening so fast right now that it is hard to keep up with them, but we plan to make some further announcements in the near future that include the states of Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina and "East Tennessee". The First Tennessee Fields have grown from the 10 original fields to include a more comprehensive plan through the involvement an a MAJOR sponsor who has recently come aboard. Hopefully this deal will be finalized this next week and can soon be announced, but it will be a huge boost to the southeast and especially west Tennessee.
Tim Dulin has done a great job of bringing some key people and MAJOR sponsors together to make the future bright for folks who truly want to help young people. Stay tuned, folks. This is going to be exciting!
The First Tennessee Field will have Opening Day Cerimonies September 30th and games beginning October 1, 2005. This has been a phenominal feat to accomplish a 1 1/2 year construction project in FIVE months. I saw the fields yesterday and they look very nice and will be among the best in the country. It doesn't hurt to have the former field manager of Autozone Park in charge of them!
