Has anyone heard anything about or seen Mineola? I heard they may have a pitcher or two that I might need to go see. I've been too busy with honey do's.

Heard they have a freshman throwing 90. 
Yea that pitcher is Nic Watkins, doesnt throw 90 but was clocked at 86 last week. Really really strong kid. They do have two others pitcher that throw 90 and are being heavly recruited, Ray Martin and Chase something, not sure of the last name. They are a pretty dominant 3A school

Yea, Nic plays for us on the Hurricanes, and i've seen Mineola play about 4 times this season, and Ray and Chase look to be the real deal. I know its 3A but I really do think these young men would be just as good at 5A. They also may be better hitters then pitchers also.
It should be a great series against Celina but I do think Mineola has a great chance this year to go all the way

Wasn't concerned about Celina series, I just like to get out and see good baseball, especially when it's played by smaller schools. Maybe I'm just feeling nostalgic about the small town atmosphere.
