Greenbrier's Jordan Adair and First Colonial's Justin Keith pitched a great first game, striking out 7 each; Adair allowed only two singles by Kenday Cuffee and shut down the rest of the team allowing only one batter past 2nd base. Keith was hurt by some of the team's first game rustiness in the first inning where they had 3 errors and surrendered the only run on an overthrown ball to second with runners at first and third. Only one batter got to second base the rest of the game an Greenbrier's first hit was by Adair in the 6th.
The second game was highlighted by Jordan Adair, Sean Poppen and Caleb Farrell's two hits apiece.
Sean Poppen scattered 4 FC hits over 6 innings to get the win.
next game: Monday June 13th Post 204FC vs. Post 280 Chesaapeake @ FC
