I love this idea. Here's what I've got to sell. But it'll be hard to ship so Central and Northern Illinois buyers preferred.

Atec Pitching Target: Faded due to being outside but intact and perfectly usable. Also a little diffent from the picture. The frame is more of an L-shape and looks to have a smaller footprint than this one.

Schutt Soft Toss Machine (no net as pictured)

$100 for the pair

Sorry for the small picture. I can e-mail you better pics when I get home if you need them.

I gotta' hand it to papi...he's honest to the core. The last time I was invited out his way to stand in as a pitching target I snapped a picture of his old one. And by golly his description is nearly right on the mark...

There's a lot of good miles left on her!

Seriously...this is a great thread. I think the concept can work.

"You remember that case of cottage cheese I forgot to put in the fridge after Easter?"......"Don't tell me papi...someone on the HSBBW bought it. They thought it was Turface® Quick Dry®. Based on your description how would they know any better?"

I have a handful of top-of-the-line Rawlings Pro Preffered and Wilson A2000 ballgloves brand new (samples - used to be in the biz) I can sell for $125 ea. I have a mix of IF, OF and P models and maybe a catcher's mitt or two.
I can send pics. PM me if interested.
I can also throw in a free top-of-line used BESR bat with each purchase Smile
Hi guys!

A few members have asked in the past about offering a forum for selling used equipment. I have no objection, but just want to say...

BUYER BEWARE.

I would recommend that you do not consider buying anything here from members who have been on board less than a year. I think that will help protect from the "shysters" as my dear departed Dad used to call them.

Anyone want to make an offer on a pitching machine?

It's one of a kind. One of the first actually. This coal-fired beauty is built to last. You'll get years of reliable and consistent service from it.

The only real drawback it has is its inability to be repositioned once it's set up on the mound. If you have to make an adjustment it'll just eat up your infield...the whole infield and most of the outfield too. But she'll just work forever...and turn heads too!

Sold 'As is'. You pay for the freight and the teetering stack of permits to get it moved. Oh, I almost forgot...I'll throw in a large order of curly fries to grease sweeten the deal.

Twenty five bucks for the whole lot!

I got them at a 'carriage house' sale years ago...you know, back before there were garages. I would imagine there is lots of good baseball stuff on these reels, but I'm not sure since I don't have a projector.

The entire series, I've been told, is narrated by the nephew of some guy named Abner. Abner Wrigley I think...maybe? No, no, come to think of it it's Abner Doublemint. Yeah...Doublemint. That's it.

Heck...the reels themselves are probably worth the price.

And sorry...I'm all out of curly fries. They're not bad for breakfast.

Gosh I'm so glad to see ya' Antz! You've come along just in time. And speaking of 'come-along', do you have one? And a sturdy tow strap too? Why? Well this clip sort of speaks for itself.

I had heard through the 'wheeled lawn device and lightweight trailer' grapevine that the Western Auto® in Chesnee, SC had a dozen or so replacement tires and wheel assemblies for my EZ Glide® barrow. Wow...lucky me! I jumped into the Jimmy® and I was southbound and down! I couldn't have been in a better mood. Ridin' high...and fast! I was buzzin' along just fine 'til I crossed the state line from North Carolina into South Carolina. Then I had to ride quite a bit lower and slow down a bunch. Goodness how those palmetto sting when they catch your raw face!

Now you might hear different versions of the story, but honestly I parked my rig so that loading it up would be simple and hassle free. Most others, of course, thought something otherwise. Certainly Judge McWherter did. Whoever keeps harping about 'bricks & mortar' retailers going by the wayside is nuts I tell ya'!

I hafta' wonder though...five hundred hours of community service in a lil' town like Chesnee will make a difference...right? I can imagine I'll be able to paint the parking meter, change the bulb in the 'stop & go' light, polish the barber pole, and finally correct the spelling on the water tower...both sides. Kenny won't like that, but I'd just tell him "If you want your name up here you can buy a real vowel Mr.Country Music man!"
