Favorite/best moment-

Easy. 2004 Mickey Mantle Regional tournament. Came back to win it with a second round loss. Memorable catching performance by Rance Melton. Had to catch all 3 games on Sunday due to unfortunate circumstances. Kid is a warrior. Blazing hot. Made me shed a tear at the end of the day when watching that team come together.

Regret-

Sweating the really small stuff. But that's just me.

Do over-

Stick to my guns on enforcing policies.

Best competitor-

Favorite/best moment

Winning the final game of the MMWS Qualifier. Dustin Dickerson hits a shot to left Center and Joe Leftridge makes the catch to send DBAT 15 to the MMWS

Biggest Regret - worring about what people think

What would I do over next time - I'll never tell

Toughtest to Coach Against - Linty Ingram
No longer a coach persay but I'll share anyway.....

What was your favorite/best moment?
Winning the NW Garland Senior League championship in 1994 (14-15 year-olds). Funny how priorities change over time....used to be winning the league was the brass ring. Now it's making sure the kids move on to the next level and trying to get to the CMWS.

Biggest regret?
None. It's been a thrill and an honor to be involved with the 250+ kids I've shared the dugout with.

What would you do over next time?
Eat better after games. Shoulda passed on the post-game fast food regimen! Smile

Bonus: Toughest to coach against?
Without doubt, Danny Florence and Corey Thornton. Never could beat those dang guys. What's that old saying? "If you can't beat 'em...." Wink
