Bases loaded, 2 outs, batter hits a grounder to 3rd baseman who bobbles the ball. 3rd baseman was able to recover and reach out and tag runner2 going to 3rd for the third out. In the mean time runner3 crosses home plate before the tag was made. Is this still a force and no run counts or does the tag change the situation and the run scores?
I guess I need to be educated about what I thought I knew.
