If he's smart he won't even apply.  I wonder if his coach treated him and his buddies like this growing up back in the day?  Not that it excuses it by no means because common sense has to factor in at some point.  Just curious if he learned this action or he came up with it on his own.

And yet I've seen this very thing recommended here numerous times.

 

i actually had a high school coach who had the police called on him because a kid claimed he was throwing at him intentionally. Police officer showed up and let's just say that report didn't go anywhere. Oh, and the kid turned his uniform in the next day...
