Looks like loading the hands and causing the front arm to bar.

Also looks like the hands disconnect, pulling across the body instead of rotating near the rear shoulder as the shoulders rotate.

That aside, I think you load and unload your lower half nicely. If you can lose the disconnect, you'll see a rapid improvement in bat speed. Focus on proper loading of the upper body (not so much the hands, and more a slight rotation of the shoulders and scap loading), and the whole sequential chain of load/unload.

thats awesome that you bring that up wayback...cuz this is from my fresh year and im a senior now but its something ive just recently noticed ive always done...that the hands disconnect with the "chain" and its something im def gonna work on improving...any drills that could possibly help? or is it just gonna have to be a conscious effort on my part to "feel" it out and make adjustments?
Metal in school is ok although giving them a new paint job every year and selling them for a few hundred dollars is a racket. Many kids struggle driving the ball with metal let alone wood.

I suppose there are a few people out there wishing golfers were still using wooden woods. I doubt if many tennis players still use wooden rackets either.
