Friday Night Lights

Thanks CS -- I have to confess -- the football anticipation matches that which we all feel in the spring. Despite PS not starting tonight, it is still exciting --- and I know I'll be jazzed the first time he takes the field.

I just did a job for a lady who's son was on that '88 Permian football team. She says her son is very anxiously awaiting the start of the series.

I love Friday nights in Texas in the fall....nothing else like it.

You folks think "Friday Night Lights" warrants a mini series on NBC this fall?

They used to have a commercial on the radio saying something to the affect of

"Jerry Fraley would rather watch a rookie ball game in Podunk than be at the superbowl"

2 hours 21 minutes until the opening home game kickoff. Been waiting 9 months for this.....

Saturday = College Football


Sunday = Pro Football (yawn.... )

Thanks all -- PantherSon had a good night after missing three games with his injured left shoulder and most of the week with a severe case of the flu. He alternated with the starter to get back into the flow of things. The Panthers are playing good football at the moment. I'll be praying for an injury-free 2nd half.
