What on earth is a frisbee pitch? I can't imagine how this could be thrown!

A frisbee is just a flat breaking ball thrown by mostly submarine/sidearm throwers.

Curve or break is movement opposite arm side. a true curve has more down movement than side to side.

run / sink is armside. all is due subject to spin imparted on the ball. the lower the arm angle the more likely the pitcher is to have run / sink / or boring action.

Frisbee is the nickname referring to family member of pitches an arm has in it's arsenal. It has genes since is a "cousin" of Uncle Charlie.

Many people have claimed to have invented the Frisbee. Especially the Baking Company of Bridgeport Conn.

Today, with NY Mets new set-up RHP Stevey Schmoll, the term is back in vogue, since the frisbee's he deals are simply ...nasty.

Some claim to see less bats if the arm slot is modified. Koufax had a frisbee that went up, and then 'off the table' (and of course missed a lot of bats).
