Sorry but the Fungo bed and breakfast will closed this weekend. The proprietor and the head cook will be vacationing on the campus of Ole Miss University in beautiful Oxford, Mississippi. Yes, OPP had made reservations last week for a stay this Tuesday but there was a little mix-up. . . . Since the proprietor’s hours are flexible and he happened to be fishing and out of cell phone range, I didn’t return in time to “bellhop” Mr. OPP to his quarters. The impatient OPP decided to head eastbound toward Nocksville to watch the mighty “Bucs” crush the “Orange”.
We even straightend things up too!

Well, I'll have to call Joe or Tim I guess...Maybe they will let me throw out a sleeping bag at Dulins Sports Academy.. I sure was looking forward to collard greens, deer steaks and fried 'taters, but it sounds like it will be ball park hotdogs..

You would think Fungo would leave the key under the flower pot on the back porch. If you can't trust a preacher, who can you trust?

I was sorry to hear about coach Randy Harrel at North Side's dad. Hope the Indians can manage without him for a while! He played college ball with my brother many years ago.
