Not sure about the terms, but we pick through and go to the ear for any gb below the knee. We will funnel and give to the midsection for anything at the knee or above.

i agree with you on all your post on the first page. coahc may the only thing i would disagree with you on is the fact of fielding the ball on the right side. i think this increases the chance of missing the ball because of the glove angle. i teach to field under the glove hand eye, this results in better glove angle and hopefully more fielded balls. yes it is a little slower to throw. if you have a very good infielder with great hands, then i think you can get away with fielding on the throwing side.
