GAME CENTRAL - Okay To Brag - Fall Baseball

After struggling in our tourney over the weekend, I had a nice game pitching last night. I struck out four in three innings and only gave up two hits. My velocity was also up a lot from the summer season.

Son is a HS Senior playing in local wood bat league. Last night, he was 3 for 4 (all doubles) with 6 RBI's. It was their first win in 7 games.

It may be football season officially, but baseball will always rule.

Son's E. WA '08 scout team is 2-10 so far but he's 2-0 as a pitcher. He's pitched 20 innings with only 1 ER (a 7th inning jack!). Went up against Western Washington's team they're taking to the Jr. Fall Classic and pitched a complete game, 2-0 win. Son will be playing for Rocky Mountain Baseball in that tournament. Anyone else going?

my 08 LHP pitched for the arkansas prospects this fall. they played jucos and some baseball academys and some other prospect teams from the area states i have know ideal on his stats but we where at ole miss his first weekend and he threw very well and hit 88 mph in his second inning of work. that brought one of the ole miss coaches down to see him he got more looks this fall than ever i would suggest playing fall ball to anyone

My '09 has 2 games left in his fall season. It's getting awfully cold here in Nebraska. Tanner is hitting over .700, OBP over .800. No K's. He is starting to get a rep though, he got walked 5 times yesterday, 4 times on 4 pitches at the shoelaces.

He got to do his favorite play yesterday though, caught the catcher napping and stole home on the throw back to the pitcher. That put a smile on his face.

My son's team just played in the Northern California Fall Championship and won! They did awesome as a team and never gave up. In the semi's and finals they had to play teams they had not been able to beat before. Both games they fell behind and battled back to win. Very exciting. My son personally did great and hit .538 and pitched incredible helping his team to win.

My 13U team is 10-1 this fall on the big field. We have not given up more than 4 runs in a game yet. Also, last week, we won the Fall State Championship.

BTW, my son is playing great. He has made 3 diving catches in CF that no one thought he would get. He also pitched 5 innings last week, giving up 2 unearned runs.

Pres is doing great things this fall! Just got word he will be going to Cape Cod to play with Falmouth next June! Whooopppee! Guess I'd better plan a trip!

My 08 LHP pitched 6 innings Sunday 11K's personal best for him. lost though 1-0
I was extremely proud of him.

My 14U LHP son pitched a no hitter game (five innings) against 16 to 17 years old kids in the JV League last week. Before the game ended, he hit a winning ballgame to the right field near the line while a teammate was in the scoring position. The final score was 10-0.

We were extremely proud of him.
