come on spring
I must say, this is the absolute epitome of the kind of thread that this website is all about - from start to finish. It starts with frustration and seeking guidance. It ends with success!
Hornets 20 -Hats off you to you kiddo! You should be very proud of what you have accomplished - and for providing such a great example of what HSBBW does and stands for.
Best of luck to you - and continue to keep us informed.
Way to go!
PS I agree with Lonzo's last statement (only I am in a warm weather area and although we got to play through fall and winter, we started serious baseball first day back from winter break. Woo Hoo, I can almost smell those doggies on the grill and the popcorn in the air, see the blue and hear the crowds!

Hey everyone, had our first scrimmage yesterday. The game was an all day affair, and I got in to pitch the 13th and 14th innings. I'm pleased to report I pitched 2 innings of scoreless (and hitless) relief. Walked a pair of hitters, but outside of that, it went well. Season starts for real on the 27th, so there will be more to report then. Thank you to everyone for the kind words that have been posted here.
Sounds like you're off to a great start, Hornets. Best wishes with your season!
