SP09, Welcome to the HSBBW,
Great Question, Do you play Summer travel ball?
Also have you went to any college camp's.
Showcases help with exposure, But is only one part of the Recruiting process.
Academic's will also help out a lot more.
Without it your limited with your option's.
Your not to young, at the end of your sophmore year.
Look for local College camp's, and Local Showcases early in the Summer. Also Showcase Tournament's.
That will let you know were you stand as far as your talent.
Go from there.
Shot for the Moon and don't stop working hard. EH
shppirate, I think you may know the answer to this better than anyone else. Do college coaches and scouts attend your HS games? If not, then you may have to attend showcases to put yourself in front of them. Who are the scouts and coaches that attend? Are they from programs you'd be happy to attend and are a fit for? If not, then you need to find other avenues... showcases or depend more on your summer team.

I think HS programs vary widely depending on area and the talent that the program has. Some get much exposure and some none. Showcases vary just as much with some providing exposure to schools all over the country and some being more local.

Most important thing as a sophomore is to keep your grades going up and work your tail off! Smile
