You can't really go wrong with either of these; I have become a glove collector over the years and have a few of each (a2000, rawlings gold glover series hoh). A few thoughts...
1) Consider checking out eBay for a "new, old stock" model a2000 (USA or Japan made) or Rawlings w/Horween leather (made in USA!). I think the older gloves hold up better (materials and workmanship). You can get a new/nearly new glove that was made 15 years ago for about what you're looking at in the catalog you've linked here. You just have to be a little patient; it might take 3-4 weeks for a model that you like to come up on auction.
2) Other gloves that I have bought that are of comparable quality, and for considerably less money, are Barraza or Rolin gloves made in Mexico. EXCELLENT quality materials, and they last many years and keep their shape. Stitching isn't perfect like you'll find in Japan or USA gloves, but they play as well and cost much less, and they feel incredible on your hand. Check out their website. Other manufacturers selling very high quality, comparable to Wilson and Rawlings, are the Akadema pro series gloves and the Kelley pro series gloves.
3) Another interesting option, but one that will probably cost a few dollars more, is to check out pro-issued pro shop gloves (also on eBay). I have a couple of a2000 gloves that have seen action in the major leagues and they are a notch above the best store bought a2000's; there is a pretty big difference in the feel of these when compared to store bought of the same model. Right now there is a "trapeze style" Zett glove that belonged to Mike Fetters on eBay for $245; most of the pro issued gloves will fetch that much or more.
If you really want to buy for the label, Rawlings and Wilson are two good ones. I think you would be wise to stick with Gold Glove/HOH instead of Pro Preferred with its "kip leather";my son has one that got pretty floppy rather fast.
Whatever you buy, if it comes down to two gloves and you really like one more than the other, but the one you really like costs a little more...go for it. This is an important decision and you want to feel good about it. Good luck...
