The only place I have been able to find articles of this type is on the DIII baseball website, which is a must for those with sons playing at that level. Amazing that BA mentioned one of these players today in their chat on the Sally league...in the context of players who apparently don't fit nicely into their profile.

'You don't have to be a great player to play in the major leagues, you've got to be a good one every day.'

infield dad- Not sure on the numbers, but I can tell you from personal experience that it is DEFINITELY possible. I played NAIA (which is basically the same size) and then made it in the minors, and I know of many others with the same story. There are many schools (Lewis & Clark, Dallas Baptist, St. Thomas, Oklahoma City, etc.) that have had numerous players move on. It isn't about the level...it's about ability and performance - although no one would try to tell you that it isn't a lot EASIER to make it if you go to a big school. GOOD LUCK!
