Is going to a perfect game event to gain initial interest from schools a good idea? I imagine if I put up good numbers, schools will take interest. I just feel going to individual schools camps will become very expensive, as PG is one general source that can then be sent out to schools.

If you’re a top shelf stud you can show up to be discovered. Chances are some already knows who you are anyway from high school. For everyone else I’m a fan of having your travel coach do some preselling.
Sit with your coach and create a target school list. Then have him presell on your behalf before the event. Your target list should be based on where you agree you could possibly play. Then figure out where to get in front of these schools.
