My son plays in the GLVC, while the competition may not be as good as some of the southern schools it is a pretty good league. Southern Indiana won the D2 national title a couple years ago and Northern Kentucky is moving to D1 next year.
16 team league with two divisions that seems to be fairly balanced, the eastern half may be a bit better top to bottom.

I played in the GLVC! I feel out of all the d2 midwest conference's it is the strongest. Both the GLIAC and MIAA are very top heavy in my opinion. Obviously the GLVC has way more teams so that also helps. I would say on a yearly basis the east side is better but this year it seems to be the west side. Overall quality competition, the better programs have more quality arms in regards to the talent of pitching you will see every weekend! I played at Quincy, so PM with any questions you have, I have a good understand of most programs in the conference.
