My family just saw an awesome movie with an admittedly Christian slant. "Facing the Giants" is about high school football, but the lessons and message could definitely apply to baseball as well -- indeed to any life experience any of us face. It challenges us all to focus on teamwork and leadership, rather than than on individual achievement, and to give every task our all, leaving the results up to God. I heartily recommend it!

I am glad you enjoyed it. I attend the church in Albany, GA that produced the movie and we are excited about what God is going to do with the movie. Great to hear it is playing in Texas. We have gotten more "free" publicity then we could ever have imagined based on its PG rating. God is good. Also, great for parents to realize that as long as your son is giving his all, leave the opportunities for his future in God's hand.
