Great weekend

I don't know about you but for me for this is one great weekend, despite the rain today. Men's Basketball Final Four as well as the Womens Basketball Final Four. The we add in Minor League Baseball and MLB games to go along with the start up of local HS baseball---And it is Tax Time as well--is there enough time in the day ???

Congrats to Kansas on a great game played by them. They were the better team and proved it. It hurts as an avid Tar Heel fan but the Kansas team was outstanding. Maybe now the Kansas fans can move forward and let Ole Roy move on. They have a great coach in Bill Self. It should be a great game Monday night.

This is just a great two week period...especially when you add in the Masters this upcoming week. ESPN is covering Weds par-3 contest at Augusta...and DirecTv has special Masters in HD coverage as well.

Both of my boys were born in NC,...so shhhhhhhh,....truth be told, we had baby blue on underneath our Jayhawk shirts.

Actually,.....we are just here in Kansas via loan from the US Army,...but I must say its fun to watch this town and state go craaaaaazy!
Looks like most businesses in our little town are either shutting down from work tomorrow or moving the big screens in!

Lots of good Div. II baseball going on here too this Sunday! Went and watched Central Missouri State play Western Missouri State.....good game!

I love how conventional wisdom works in sports. Just a week or so ago everyone was picking against Memphis because they could not shoot free throws and the weak schedule they played this year. Now, everyone is saying how can Memphis be stopped. Kansas just beat the consensus #1 team in the country. I like Kansas to win this game.

Western Missouri State plays Pittsburg State this weekend in St. Joe.
Also Washburn plays Northwest Missouri State in Maryville & Fort Hays is playing Truman State in Hays.

No, my son doesnt play for either of the schools mentioned in my earlier post.....he's still a senior in highschool.
