Had his first game pitching.....

My son got his first start on the freshman team last night. He kind of bummed that he didn't start Wed. night, but he got the start last night.

He ptiched three innings (thankfully the coach is taking it slow) giving up a few hits, 4-5 K's, and 2 runs. I think he only had one BB, but I don't have the book in front of me. I don't think he was very happy with himself until after the coach talked to the team after the game and he found out he had just pitched against a JV team. That sort of changed his tune because he held his own against them.

All in all, it wasn't a bad outing considering it was against a JV team.
