rz - you should have stopped at worthy players.

I'm a huge Red Sox fan & saw Boggs play many times while living in Boston during the '80s. But somehow I can't remove the distant chant of "Marr-go. Marr-go." from my memory in 1989 during Boggs' plate appearances.

Definite Hall of Famers. Boggs & Gwynn made hitting for average cool again, and Ryno was a guy who did for 2B what Ripken did for SS - new body type, player with power up the middle. Congrats to 2 guys who I enjoyed watching as I grew up.
