They do get better and better 20dad. From here on out they are all going to be precious!

One of my sons gave me this as a birthday gift. He knew 'low tech' was about as much as I could handle...

I've been staring at this gift/piece of art/candidate for the recycle bin for nearly six hours. I haven't a clue whether or not it can be recycled.

Tell you what wragg...you have a bunch more patience than I do! I tried to teach my 'dumber than pig iron' tethered balls how to do some of those tricks, but I had no luck.

And unlike your well trained and precisely orchestrating orbs mine never behaved. Some went one way and the rest went the other. Not once did they line up and do the same thing twice. The only thing that really impressed me with my swinging troupe was when I gave them a piece of my mind and they briefly conferred and offered it back. They reasoned I needed it way more than they did. They're probably right.

After a couple of hours of frustration and boredom punctuated with a few occasional flashes of sheer terror I finally decided these balls are indeed recyclable. Today was 'pick-up day' and they're riding off to 'Recycle World', eagerly awaiting a chance to spin their story to whoever will watch.

I told my son to stick with a gift next year that has no moving parts...maybe a sundial or a 16" softball.

Wink
