H.B. Kernodle: Baseball coach who nurtured players, ballparks

Came across this in the Dallas Morning news.

H.B. Kernodle's passion was baseball, from the ballparks he manicured to the generations of players he nurtured.

Mr. Kernodle was especially fond of the ballpark at Dallas' Reverchon Park, which he maintained for the city in exchange for playing time for his players.

Mr. Kernodle, 65, died Tuesday of a stroke at Baylor University Medical Center.

FYI only...More posts about HB in the "More thoughts, more prayers" thread.

I went to the funeral, it was well attended.

Kip - you eulogy was outstanding - your dad would be proud (and smiling).

Jerald - eulogy was perfect - im sure your good friend (HB) appreciated it.
