Basically , the head isn't supposed to tilt. My son is always watching video of himself, specifically his head. He has a max effort type delivery and his head will move sometimes.

College recruiters notice it and point it out. It also can effect control. The simple plan on the mound is to see your focal point ( Catchers glove ) and attack! When the head moves guys miss can their spots

Here is the video I was referring to.  I don't talk about head tilt in the video but two people brought it up afterwards.  Someone said for every inch of "head tilt" takes off two mph from pitch.  I have a problem with this because they don't identify what head tilt is. Also, even if it were identifiable, how can you determine that for every inch equals two mph off?  Here's what I think about the head.  It is mostly influenced by the body.  So your body angle determines shoulder angle, which should determine head angle.  If all are in line, I say it's ok.  Now if a guy's head is tilted (I'm looking at release point) off of the angle that his body is angled, then there is a problem.  Even if that is the case, I don't think it is fixed at release.  Something is happening earlier in the delivery where it is making the pitcher over compensate later in the delivery somewhere.
