Son was just invited to the Blue-Grey at Middle Tennessee State on Aug 5-7. I read the threads in "Showcases" about it and heard differing views. Some of you might remember we were targeting Tennessee schools from up here in Wisconsin. Any thoughts on this showcase from the locals? Seems like a no-brainer if you want to be seen in Tennessee.

Halfmoon, my son was involved in the Blue-Grey back in the summer of 03. There was good involvement from area coaches and all the players were given a fair opportunity to showcase their skills. My son's session was at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and was well-attended by college coaches from the area. I'm not sure how the response is at MTSU.

If you're trying to compare this showcase to the national exposure you'd get at Perfect Game, then you might be disappointed. However I thought the event was good. Gus and staff seemed genuinely interested in helping all the boys find a college.
