is there anybody who has done this before and who has any messengers we can talk at?

i know there are places that tell you how but it helps me understand a lot more when someone is guiding me.

sorry if i caused any trouble or seem to be a pain.

It looks like you have a good BA but not much as far as power goes. What kind of speed do you have? Are you considered fast? Are you playing 2nd or outfield now? How are your grades? Your SAT score? Are you a qualifier for Bright Futures? Are you playing Summer Ball on a team that will get seen at significant tournaments? Really you need to answer all these questions and more to recieve productive guidence.
yeah i have the most speed on the team.

im actually taking the ACT tomorrow. havent taken the SAT yet..

i believe i have a 2.8..

im playing summer basketball and baseball right now for my school, im switching off.. we play in a tournament in tampa or around there for the weekend in the mets spring training stadium.

i am also picking up my last report card probably tomorrow.
If you are not able to focus 100% and take the time to read the responses to your questions and the questions and responses of others there is little chance of playing at the next level. You need to take charge of this, no one else will. There are many many baseball players that dedicate their lives to playing this game and play it well, working hard to make it to the next level. If that is not you the odds are greatly against you.

Who the hell are you to tell me to back off !!!---the kid has been on the site since 2007 and he admits he doesn't read what is here and then he comes on asking for help--I am sorry BOF that does not fly with me--he is typical of todays kids who are too lazy to do what they need to do for themselves--they want others to do it all for them--especially their mommy and daddy
Start by writing a letter a sending it to colleges that have either contacted you or you have interest in. Make sure the letter is formal and well written. Tell them your credentials, positions played, what you do best on the baseball field and your plans for the future. When telling a coach info always give a realistic interpretation. So if you throw 90 you throw 90... if you throw 83 you throw 83 not 90. Then include you stats or video, etc. Honestely, stats are important but in recruiting based on physical tools MOST but not all coaches dont care what your stats are. Coaches care more about evaluating video or you tell them your schedule and they see you play.

Good luck with everything...AllSS
I am going to go with Floridafan's gentler way of being kind.

I agree, many questions asked and answered, I would suggest that LW put in some work, if this is what he wants.

My opinion is that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink, he needs to be thristy enough to want it.

Stats mean nothing, you need to decide what programs may fit your needs realistically then write to coaches and let them know where they can see you this summer.

I'd begin with a JUCO search first.

Let me say this to you and BOF---stop the PC stuff--the lovey dovey approach does not work with me-- I REPEAT THE KID HAS BEEN HERE ON THE SITE FOR TWO YEARS---let him learn how to read and digest information--what does he do in the classroom????--

I am into helping people who want to be helped not those who do not try to help themselves

By the way I do not need you telling me what to do

Well I hate to say this, but TR has a point, although in a blunt way. I am experiencing the exact same problem. The kids that make it are the self starters, the parent/s does not have to hold their hands.
