Akadema still gives you more bang for your buck than anybody else. Their fielder's gloves used to start around $130, not sure what the current price is. You can probably get one cheaper on e-bay.

My son's college team gave him 3 gloves, an Akadema, an Easton, and a Mizuno. The Easton, a $300 glove, sustained a rip in the webbing within a couple of weeks. Everyone on the team that got the same glove experienced the same problem. The Mizuno is fine, although it is rapidly turning into a pancake. He likes the Akadema best, although it too had a small manufacturing defect with one of the laces.
