Like I said you are leaking power out front. You are ending with your head and torso too far out front. This will become more problematic as you try to lay off breaking balls and off speed pitches. You will lose even more of your power as you are fooled in game situations.

That is one reason why you are hitting so many ground ears as well.

Keep your weight on your backside longer, and finish with a nice power line.

I also feel like the tee is too far out in front of me. You should hit the ball a little in front of you if any. I felt like I was rolling my hand and I am pretty sure that was the problem. This is my first BP in a while and I was alone. So, I wasn't really thinking it through. Thanks for the advice though. In a little bit I will actually get my bat speed where I left off after fall ball. Then I will post another video.

Agree with others....for future videos, wouldn't mind seeing a better camera angle with your feet and hands fully seen and the front of your body directly facing the camera. Live pitching or a machine would help to better understand your full swing mechanics.

Not an expert, but have been to plenty of good batting lessons with my son, and study video of the MLB guys swings to see their approach.  First thing I would have you correct is keeping your hands/knob inside the ball.  You are casting your hands away from your body, then coming forward, and your hands are "outside" the ball.  This makes your swing slow, and you will rarely get the good part of the bat on the ball.  You will have a tendency to pull everything, not handle certain pitches, and not be able to hit the ball the other way.  Your hands should never be outside the ball.  Also agree your weight is too far forward, and some other things.  However you have to get your hands inside the ball first and foremost.  Hope this helps.

I have a topic posted with my swing. I'd love to hear what you have to think..
