I don't know for sure, but if I had to guess, I would go with Sacrifice Flies Allowed/ Sacrifice Hits Allowed. It makes some sense. I hope I'm right. It makes sense because they count as earned runs, but because there not really off hits, its almost not fair to be "earned".
and is it sacrifice HITS instead of sacrifice BUNTS because they already use SBA [stolen bases attempted]??
And SHA really is sacrifice BUNTS, right?? I coached with a guy that tried to convince me than a fielders choice, where the runner moved up was a sacrifice HIT - my reply was always - "Where does the sacrifice part come in??"
