You're right- he may be back real soon. But all that does it speed up the time until he "hurts" himself again.

Funny how this did not come out until tickets went on sale. Where the heck was Wood all Winter. Not like he was playing late into October last year. Plenty of time to take care of the medical problems during the off season. I always wondered about pitchers that need some knife work before pre season is over.

Ihe best team is baseball, the World Championship Chicago White Sox,is preety deep in their starting rotation lineup. Heck maybe they can lend a starter or two to the cubbies to help them in yet another moment of pitching need. It might be fun to pitch in such a cute little park. I am sure they would miss the Major League club house. I know this was supposed to be for cub fans only, but my son is
one of those fans...does that count?

lsc.....the carcasses of "deep pitching staffs" and one year wonders litter the road of baseball history. My guess is by the end of the season the Sox won't have enough pitching for themselves, let alone lending a few to the Cubbies.....who may be as deep as the Sox.

Mark Buehrle = Only Sox pitcher who has been a consistent winner.

Hey Southside, that was a fantastic post! After all these months now it's realized that Kerry Wood needs surgery. This guy has been hurt his whole career and it will always be the same. What a waste of talent. The Cubs should have traded him to Texas two years ago.
