So the 2016's HS season is over.  He's working out and playing a light summer schedule in a wood bat league, preparing for college baseball.  The wife and I enjoyed every second of the last four years.  All the trips, hotels, long car rides home, and grueling Monday mornings after a long weekend tournament.  But we have enjoyed the last few weeks relaxing and being somewhat of a "normal family".  That will come to a screeching halt in about an hour, as we pack up the truck and get ready to make the 8 hour drive so our younger son can get to the WWBA.  Well, it was a nice summer even if it was only two weeks.  Here's to the next four years...

Awesome!!!!  ROUND TWO!!!!!!!!!!!  DING DING DING DING!!!

My son graduated this spring. I asked him what he's going to do this summer. He said he's going to the Shore to get his PhD in partying. He said summer baseball made him miss class starting in 9u. Now he's going to catch up. He said in his more sober moments he's going to plan his job search. I'm betting he has an interview lined up with the corporation he interned with. He just doesn't want to tell us yet.
