I could not agree with you more. We at Allen know what it is like for a pitcher to go down. His injury was not tied to over use or coach abuse. You just never want to see a kid get hurt... to your posting.

Welcome aboard FOG!! Your pitchers have stepped up to the plate, uh.....I mean stepped on the mound...uh...I mean...they have really done a great job after losing one of the best pitchers in the country!!!

Noah M has been a big part of the success this year. I'm proud of him stepping up and doing such a good job.

It says a lot about the guys too, to tighten their belts and really press on after losing Shawn. They could have thrown in the towel thinking they were done, but they worked hard and stayed positive and showed everyone they had more fight left in them. Great job guys.

Good luck in the playoffs. Maybe we'll meet up on down the road in a few weeks. Now that would be cool!!

Yes, it would be fun to meet up down the road. We just need to focus on the first team we face, taking it one step at a time.

Rockwall is in Region II and Allen is in Region I. If they meet up it will be in Roundrock.

A couple of weeks ago in a truly meaningless game (freshman game with nothing to gain) opposing coach had a kid throw 183 pitches against us... WOW

Depending on the number of change-ups thrown, it may have felt more like 135-140.

180 pitches, 135 or what ever... anything over 100 for a 15-16 year-old is a lot. Probably anything over 85 is a lot.

beenthere -- welcome to the message board -- I was being sarcastic in my earlier post. Obviously, the high pitch count is a simple case of stupidity or a case of simple stupidty or....simply stupid (you get my point). Good job, coach -- I hope that win pays off for ya! *geesh*

Someone should to talk to that pitcher about pitch counts. ASMI has all kinds of great info!

baseballmom, i was up in the middle of the night too, to bad I didn't see you were on! hope you weren't up for any unfortunate reasons, coughing and allergies here. too bad I didn't take the time to get caught up with laundry.
