Haven't seen him play football.

I would say he has first round potential for baseball. He has a very strong arm and throws low 90s from the mound. However, he is an outstanding athlete and (to us) profiles better as a position player.

Another top QB recruit with great baseball tools is Jeff Driskell from Florida. His skills are comparable to Starling. But I'm guessing he will go play football. Not so sure about Starling.

Yet another top QB recruit is Archie Bradley from Oklahoma. However, he is looking very much like a first round pitcher who could be the first HS player selected next June. I'm guessing he will play baseball.

There sure are a lot of top football recruits (more than mentioned above) who are legitimate early MLB draft candidates in the 2011 class. Signability is going to be a big issue.

I'd love to see baseball get some of these talented guys.
