louisiana - I don't think its the norm, but why not give it to them? Maybe I'd make sure they weren't going to post it on the internet...but otherwise why not?

Whatever is on it (good or bad) will be asked for by college coaches eventually anyways.

As our son's recruiting process began to heat up, I just got a dozen or so of our son's transcripts ready to send out...seemed like the request came often enough that it was a good thing to have ready to go.

Of course if you are the kid with the 2.5 but your grades have shown marked improvement over the first three years of HS, then better to send the transcript than the raw number.
