Ken -- I agree with your assessement, even it is somewhat tongue-in-check --- can you imagine this conversation at the district coaches' meeting?

"coach 1: hey, what's the problem with you guys, Sulentic was only 4-5 with a HR and two triples against us.....he hit two dingers against your weak-arse pitching....
coach 2: yeah well, one of those two was wind-blown and the catcher missed my sign...
coach 3: it didn't matter what we threw him...
coach 4: we got him out as a freshman...

collective coaches: wow, but it was sure fun to watch -- the kid is special!"

I suppose a Sulentic-Kershaw matchup is too much to hope for?
