I know you probably would need to be there to know, but I'll ask anyway. A rocket in the hole, shortstop crosses over and goes to a back hand and knocks it down, throws to first but the runner beats it out. Hit or E6?

It depends on wether it is home field or not. 
I once gave errors on a hard hit balls because the first player just turned and watched it go by and another time when the guy jumped over the ball to get out of the way.

I was really asking nd943. Obrady, I know you probably had T-bird Dad and Collikar looking over your sholder this year. No way to slip a cheap hit or lazy error past them. Collikar will get you with that purple pen. 
I was hitting and in a 17 game J.V. season, being a kid that walks a lot, every at bat counts. Too bad the kid doing the book gave it an E.
