Two Day Hitting Camp - December 27th & 28th
The Orlando Baseball Academy will host a Two Day Hitting Camp on Thursday & Friday, December 27th – 28th Seminole State College. The camp is for kids all ages. There will be 2 sessions during the day. Session #1 is from 9am - 12 noon. Session #2 from 1pm - 4pm. The cost is $85 for the early register discount of $15 for any one who registers on or before December 17th, after December 17th the cost is $100. This camp will include hitting instructions, a hitting skull session, live batting practice on the field, and drills in the newly built indoor hitting facility at Seminole State College. The instructors will be OBA staff members Brian King and Jon Krot, along with Sean Dwyer (Florida Gulf Coast), and Brandon Brewer (Anaheim Angels organization), Will Blankenship (Lake Sumter Community College Coach) and at least one of Seminole State College coaches. There will also be a session on what professional scouts look in hitters presented by Harry Shelton of the Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau and possible a guest appearance by newly named Colorado Rockies hitting coach Dante Bichette Sr. You should dress in athletic attire or baseball pants and bring turf or tennis shoes for the inside hitting areas.
