I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for private hitting lessons around the Lewisville area for a 17 year old. Someone that is dependable and knows the game well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you...

don't use rotational hitting. find a hitting instructor. i think the MAC offers hitting instruction
Chris Edlestien up at D-Bat is very good. I know he is not in Lewisville/flower Mound. But, that's not far from the D-Bat facility.

I have no ties to D-BAT, My son went to Chris and he had him hitting very well. In fact dfwdad08 son is in college and will probably go back to Chris over the Christmas break.

Rudy Jaramillo is the best in the business. His nephew's Aaron and tony run the Jaramillo Brothers Baseball Club. If you want him to learn to hit the way the scouts want to see go to www.leaguelineup.com/jbbc. Look them up and give them a call.
I've taken my son to plenty of Hitting Instructors ... whom I will not mention ... but I came to find that the best I've found Nation wide is Aaron Jaramillo. Go to www.leaguelineup.com/jbbc You can find bio's and contact info there.
My son has been using Coach Nick at www.nortexbaseball.com for the past 2 years and we have seen great results.

Dan Ortmeier recently retired from MLB and is doing some lessons in the Lewisville/Flower Mound area. Dan's dad is the trainer at Marcus and if you email him he can probably get you hooked up with him. I'm not sure if I still have his number, but he knows his stuff and works great with the kids. He is a LHS grad, played at UTA, and was a 2nd round pick of the Giants. Just finished his career with Colorado last year.
Dan can probably be reached two different ways:

2) ProSource Athletics where he coached this past summer.
