I understand with a right handed batter the second baseman holds and with lefty short stop holds. I have seen a coach call it from the dugout to his shortstop and second baseman prepitch a signal to each. Then the pitcher looks and gets the signal from short or second. What kind of signals does anybody use if they do it this way.
Or if you use a different signal how do you communicate pitcher to short/second on when you are going to pick to second base?
