home run question

Not sure about California home run record, but Louisiana had a guy hit 13 in a single season.... 26 bombs in his 5 years of varsity ball

I don't know if there's a place that tracks HS stats like that, although you can get some information out of MaxPreps: https://www.maxpreps.com/leade...uns/stat-leaders.htm

It's kind of clunky, you have to look year by year, and the accuracy really depends on having a coach that submits stats into MP so it's likely not going to be even close to having all the stats from all the teams in it.

In my son’s high school days the kid who led the conference in homers played on a 300-330-360-330-300 home field. He was a legit power hitter. He hit an absurd number of homers. A 350 fly up the gap should be an out.

Hear is the list from Georgia.  Look at the dates, all pre BBCOR.  Doubt anyone will touch them.

I found it on the Georgia Dugout preview site.  They are a magazine that highlights all the teams and prospects in Georgia.

TN record is 27,

Season record for team is 101.  Unicoi County 1987 But their field is 300.

It is like the pitching state and national records.  Most will never be touched because you can't pitch the number of innings you used to.  The only numbers touched will be era or low things.
