Son just got a call from Area Scout, coming North Wednesday to work him out and talk.
Should I be there? What should we expect? If I am there any particular questions I should ask?

I can not imagine a scout coming to work your son out and talk to him would have a problem with you being there. And I would imagine he would want to meet you and ask you some questions as well.
By all means if you feel you should be there and want to observe then be there. Of course stay out of the way and let the scout and player do their thing. And if the scout wants to talk to you and I can not imagine he wouldnt , ask questions that you have.
My area supervisor will bring kids in for workouts and he likes to meet the parents. Good luck

I don't feel I should be there, I was just asking those who have gone through this if its wise to be there.
My kid asked me if I wanted to go and I told him I thought he would have enough pressure without me observing. Then I thought it might be wise to go thus the question to the more experienced members
All we do with our son is give him information to process so he can make the best decision possible, its his life not ours.

I think it would be fun for you to go ... a great moment to share with son ...I went to my sons work outs. Just stay out of the way.
For what its worth I think you should go. Like njbb said just stay out of the way and enjoy watching your son. Good luck

You definitely need to go, I assume your son is a high school player. If so, any area scout that knows what he is doing will have questions for you and will openly ask you if you have any questions as well.
