Wonder what loop holes JT Daniels used? From USC to start, then to Georgia, to West Virginia, and now to Rice.
It's not uncommon for these guys to graduate early, especially when they're on campus pretty much year round and most enroll early.
If a 2023 grad enrolls early, odds are by September 2023 he's walking around campus as an academic sophomore.

I know he had two seasons of eligibility when he went to WVU. He used up one of those this fall, but lost his starting position when he didn't produce. He just didn't have the mobilty that was needed.
