I've read and lurked for a while, and have found answers to many questions and lots of helpful information.
2014 son was @ Disney for spring training last week, after his last game which he pitched last 3 innings and got his first Var. win. He was walking to trainers station for ice and was approached by someone that asked him if he was a Sr. (son is 6'7")when son said no he is a freshman the guy asked if he played another position and how is hitting was. He then asked him if he was interested in coming to a tryout for USA baseball or he should consider trying out. He also mentioned getting parents contact information. My son got his ice and the gentleman was involved in a conversation with someone else.
The question is was this guy legit or just hanging around trying to impress players?
My thoughts are he would have had business cards and asked to have his parents contact him.
